There is little up, keep needed for your new vinyl siding! Usually rain water or a hose is enough to keep it clean.

You can use any kind of brush as long as the bristles are soft. A long-handled car wash brush works well and is easy to use.

*If washing the whole house start from the bottom and work up to prevent streaks.

Here are some cleaners safe to use on siding:

·      Fantastic

·      Murphy’s Oil Soap

·      Vinegar (30%) (70% water)

·      Lestoil

·      Water based cleaners

·      Lysol

·      Windex

·      Soft Scrub

For tougher stains like soot and grime try:

1.  1/3 cup powder detergent (Tide, Fab, or equivalent detergent)

2.  2/3 cup powder household cleaner (Soilax, Spic & span, or equivalent)

3.  1-gallon water

*For mildew use this same solution but add 1-quart liquid bleach use sparingly
